Pine Top Advisors is a boutique, physical asset management organization dedicated to help you understand what you have, what those items are worth, and assist in the safe marketing and sale of those physical assets when you decide to sell.
We thrive on acting as your trusted advisor to help you make decisions around the maintenance and care of physical assets and it is our pleasure to act as your representative when selling them as well.
All interactions with our team are conducted in an extremely discrete manner, based in the trust and confidence developed over time throughout our working relationship.
What We Do!
Let’s face it- Americans love stuff! So much so that it can be overwhelming to deal with the volume of it, particularly when inheriting other family members’ stuff and adding to our own!
Although the modern world has made it super simple to sell things locally (even internationally), those tools, while indeed convenient are riddled with pit falls and scams. And while auction companies and dealers of all sorts are always happy to help you liquidate or trade for something newer, in many cases this is pennies on the dollar and any sentimental value is lost forever.
At Pine Top Advisors, we understand your struggle with stuff, particularly when you are aware that some of it may have value beyond simple market value. We work with you to balance emotional connections with market value, placing your items with people who will steward and cherish them just as you did.
Our primary focus is on items with higher retail values, but we will be more than happy to assist in quickly assessing any physical assets you believe may have value and documenting them for your records. We can also help you decide the best way to maintain the asset over time and assist in the marketing and sale when that time comes.

We have years of experience in sales and service of both vehicles and motorcycles and we will help you keep more of your money from the sale of your transportation asset in your pocket rather than in a dealership or scammer.
We can also provide ongoing onsite detailing and mechanical maintenance services for daily drivers or garage queens alike!
Musical Instruments & Vintage HiFi

Chances are you have at least one musical instrument in your house you don’t know how to play and have no idea what to do with. Although not all instruments have a lot of value, some do! Don’t give it away to Goodwill or the local middle school without learning more about it!

Vintage Computers & Gaming Systems

Computers pile up over time and most carry no value beyond scrap and your data that’s onboard. However, any vintage Apple device from the 1980s through 2010 will often have collector value of some sort. Other brands may also have value, particularly early examples from the vintage home computing era like Commodore, Tandy, or Atari.
The same also holds true for vintage gaming systems and cartridges. Not every game or Playstation 1 console is valuable, but there are some nuggets out there to make digging through the closet worthwhile.
Firearms

Pine Top Advisors does not hold a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and cannot transfer ownership of any firearm. However, our team has a number of years experience in the ongoing maintenance of firearms, understands the marketplace for values, and has a number of great connections with local FFLs to handle transfers. The worst thing you can do is take grandpa’s serviceman’s trophy from Europe and drop it off to a buyback program.

Toys are probably one of the hardest things to let go. Deep memories and emotions are tied into hours of active play that you want your kids or grandchildren to experience. Much like vintage computing, most toys do not possess a lot of value in the open marketplace and are best reserved for visiting kids to play with or pass them around the family until there’s nothing left but the memories. However, value is possible depending on the line of toys, the era they are from, the condition, and whether or not the box is still available.
Jewelry, Art, & Precious Metals

The antiques market is fickle and hard to work within. Furniture is next to impossible to figure out as the items that should be worth thousands based on build quality and patina tend to sell for a few dollars. Both are all about demand. We would be happy to take a look through the items in this realm you may have and go from there together!
These items fall into the same category as each market is very volatile and rife with potential for fraud and ripoffs. Pine Top Advisors has ongoing relationships with subject matter specialists in these areas and will act on your behalf to ensure any transaction is fair for both parties. Direct to buyer is something we will always try first, but valuation and alternative marketplaces through our network is an alternative as well.
